By making a purchase from 5 O’Clock Computers, the Customer consents to abide by the following Terms and Conditions:
‘Store Products’: These items are listed under the ‘Store Products’ tab on the 5 O’Clock Website menu. These products will have the warranty period and terms defined on your invoice. For all other products, the applicable warranty terms are given in the following paragraphs.
We are a user friendly company; however, we must extend the same warranties to the customers which are provided to us by the manufacturers.
5 O’Clock Computers does not provide any other warranty, verbal or implied except as stated below. If there are any questions about the warranty on your purchases, please contact us before placing an order. Following terms apply to your purchase on this website:
- All purchases are subject to the Manufacturers’ warranties only. The Customer must provide the Manufacture’s written pre-authorization (case or reference number) to 5 O’Clock Computers to get a RMA# (Return Merchandize Authorization number). The RMA# is valid for 10 days. RMA# can be requested here.
- Each returned product must have the RMA# prominently displayed on the shipping box. RMA#s are valid for maximum of 10 days or until expiration of the warranty, whichever is earlier. RMA items must be received by 5 O’Clock Computers within 30 calendar days of the invoice date. Products shipped without the authorized RMA number will not be accepted, or will be shipped back to the Customer at their expense.
- Items must be returned in the original manufacturer packaging with all original contents, including printed material and accessories.
- Dead on Arrival (DOA): DOA items require the Manufacturers pre-authorization for 5 O’Clock Computers to make an equivalent exchange of the defective merchandize.
- Incompatible Products: 5 O’Clock Computers is not responsible for in-compatibility of the purchased items. The customer must provide the manufacturer’s authorization evidence before returning product due to incompatibility.
- Software: Software products are non-returnable and do not carry any warranty from 5 O’Clock Computers. Please contact the Manufacturer directly for their replacement.
- Parts Replacement: The Customer will receive the replacement parts as provided by the Manufacturer even if the replacement part is a refurbished item. Most manufacturers now supply refurbished items as the replacement instead of brand-new items, particularly if a defective item reaches to them after 30 days of their invoice date. Consequently, we cannot assure replacing defective items with new parts even if the purchases was made within last 30 days, unless the Manufacturer replaces the items with the corresponding new parts. If the Customer must have new part(s) in lieu of the item to be replaced then they must approach the Manufacturer for this purpose without an obligation on part of 5 O’Clock Computers. Cross-shipment can only be made if so authorized by the Manufacturer.
- Physical Damage: Any item which shows signs of abuse or damage, including electrical burns, voids the item warranty.
- S&H: Shipping and handling is non-refundable. Items are shipped back to 5 O’Clock Computers by the Customer at his/her own expense. The Customer will bear all S&H expenses for any shipments sent to the Manufacturer after the 30 days manufacturer warranty.
- Re-stocking Fee: There is 20% re-stocking fee for returned merchandize. Customer agrees to reimburse 5 O’Clock Computers for any restocking fee which the Manufacturer charges in returning the Customer’s merchandize.
- Liability: 5 O’Clock Computers will not be held liable for any damages caused by any product, performance of the product, or any other indirect damages caused by use of the product, whether or not advised of the possibility of such damage and regardless of the theory of liability pursuant to which such damages may be sought.
- Credit Card Authorization: The Customer authorizes 5 O’Clock Computers to charge his/her credit card for all eligible expenses which may include Restocking fees, original or subsequent Shipping and Handling charges which 5 O’Clock Computers may bear in fulfilling the order or for the RMA purposes.
We replicate the product descriptions which are provided to us by the distributors and manufacturers. It is possible that the information on this website may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. However, we shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions contained at this website and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information, text, graphics, links or other items contained within this website.
We update our product pricing and availability once during working business days but delays may occur due to technical and administrative problems. As we do our utmost to provide you with the latest information available to us, but it may (rarely) happen that information on our website could contain inaccuracies in pricing or product description, text, graphics or completeness. We will rectify such errors as soon as we discover them but we will not be liable for these errors.
In certain cases, such as memory, pricing may vary so rapidly that the actual price may differ from our listed price. In such a case, we will make you aware of the situation and let you decide if you would like to proceed with the order or not. We try that this scenario never occur, but if the circumstances are beyond our control, we reserve the right to accept or decline an order.
